Halloumi. It is a semi-hard salty cheese made out of a mixture of goat’s & sheep’s milk and its origin is from Cyprus. The preferred cooking method is grilled but you can fry it as well. It’s delicious and is a great addition to any salad! I personally accompany it with grilled pita bread and sliced tomatoes. I have a toaster with plates that dispatch that are similar to a grill so I grilled my Halloumi until it acquired a golden brown colour. For my pita bread, I drizzled with a bit of olive oil, added salt and oregano and toasted until crisp!
I highly recommend you try it if you have not yet!
