My travels in Crete have brought me to the beautiful bay of Loutro, South of Chania. A lovely lady by the name of Anna led me to her tavernas kitchen and showed me how to fry delicious, freshly caught, tiny tiny smelt! A little bit of salt and a small dip in flour is all you need! Fry for literally 3 minutes and your fishies are done! Here in Crete there is an abundance of fish of all types and you will always eat it fresh!
