So you have leftover Candy & chocolates from Halloween…what better than to make some home made chocolate bars! All you need to do is melt some chocolate and 1 tablespoon of olive oil ***(see below!!!) over some boiling water on your stove (bain-marie method) and spread it out evenly on a tray lined with parchment paper. The amount of chocolate you use depends on how much candy you have leftover! I used 250g! You can use any chocolate you prefer! Milk, white, dark…the choice is yours! Then place your candy on top and place it in the fridge for at least 2 hours. After it has chilled, break it up roughly into pieces and serve! I personally preserved this in my freezer and served it as an ice cold snack!
*** By adding olive oil, your chocolate will remain bright and shiny after it’s chilled! Otherwise, it is dull and “foggy”!
