Leftover Steak? Add some pasta and make a whole new meal!

Ingredients

  • 200g leftover steak
  • ½ cup homemade tomato sauce
  • 1 red onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • a pinch of sugar
  • grated parmesan cheese
  • 250g pasta of your choice

Directions

  1. In a small pan, add your olive oil and saute your onion for 2-3 minutes. Cut the steaks into small pieces and add them to the pan.
  2. Pour in the tomato sauce, ¼ cup of water, a little salt and pepper, sugar and allspice and just when it begins to boil, turn down the heat to 2 (on a scale of 1-9) cover and leave to simmer for 20 minutes.
  3.  During this time, boil plenty of water in a pot and add one tsp of salt (always add salt to your pasta, do not forget!) Cook your pasta for 10 minutes!
  4.  Drain it and add it directly into the sauce you made! Mix well and serve with a heap of parmesan cheese! Enjoy!
