Ingredients:
250gr orzo pasta
1 finely diced onion
1 shotglass red wine
400gr homemade tomato sauce
1 schet tomato paste
1 vegetable cube (or fresh tsp)
Fresh Thyme
Salt & Pepper to taste
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Saute the onion in some olive oil in a deep casserole. Add the orzo, saute for a minute then add the wine. Add 4 cups of warm water and once it starts to boil, lower the temperature, cover and let it slow cook for 8-10 minutes. Then, add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Once it has thickened, take of the heat and serve hot! You could add a pinch of grated parmesan cheese!
