Homemade Pita Bread
500gr bread flour
1 sachet instant yeast
100ml warm water
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp vinegar
250gr water
Oregano for garnish
In a bowl add 100gr flour, sugar and active yeast. Mix, cover and let it activate for 20min.
Add the rest of the ingredients and knead into a nice dough. Let it rest for 1 hour. Then separate into 100gr balls and roll out into circles.
Fry in a grill pan until golden on each side, flipping over and adding olive oil with a brush as they cook!
Beet Hummus
300gr boiled chickpeas
1 large boiled beet
1/2 cup water
1 garlic clove
1tsp tahini
1tsp cumin
1tsp lime juice
Salt
Add everything into a blender except water. Blend well adding the water slowly till you reach the consistency you desire!
Tzatziki, the Greek Dip!
250gr strained greek yogurt full fat
1 large cucumber cut into tiny pieces
1 pressed garlic clove
Salt
1 tbsp vinegar
Fresh dill finely cut
The method is easy, mix them all up and adjust ingredient portions to your liking!!!
