Asparagus & lemon parmesan cups

An absolutely delicious and interesting sider!


  • 10 asparagus tips
  • 400g grated parmesan
  • juice of half a lemon
  • salt to taste
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil


  1. Boil 2 cups of water and place it in a deep bowl. Add your cleaned asparagus tips inside and cover with a small plate. 
  2. While they “cook”, heat up an anti-stick skillet and add your parmesan inside so it forms a circle about 15cm in diameter. Once it has turned golden on one side, flip it over with a spatula for an extra 5 minutes until it has cooked on the other side.
  3. Remove it from the pan and place it over cup thats facing down. Press the sides inwards carefully so that a cup shape forms. Repeat the same process with the remaining parmesan. 
  4. Remove your asparagus from the water and add olive oil, salt and lemon. Place them in your parmesan cups and drizzle with some parmesan cheese! The taste is incredible!
