So your making a strudel and you see that you have made too much filling? Set it aside and create a delicious trifle!
All you need to do is make some jelly of your liking and separate it into glasses 1/3 of the way. Let it set for at least a couple of hours then add your filling in the middle. The filling can be of ANY dessert you have thats leftover! Don’t restrict yourself to this. Caramelised fruits though with walnuts and raisins will give your trifle that extra festive and winter feel! Whip up some unsweetened cream, finish off your trifles with a generous amount and sprinkle with some walnuts on top! Hope you like my idea! Enjoy!
